Warm Baked Traditional Scotch Pie

Warm Baked Traditional Scotch Pie with a delicious twist of turkey bacon, perfect for a cozy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of turkey bacon
  • 2 cups of diced potatoes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 package of pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy and then remove and crumble it.
  3. Add the diced potatoes and onion to the skillet and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in the crumbled turkey bacon, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. Place the mixture into a pie crust and cover with another crust.
  6. Make slits in the top crust and bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
