  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup rice

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. Add ground turkey, onion, and garlic to the pot and cook until turkey is browned.
  3. Stir in cabbage, tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add rice, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with crumbled turkey bacon.
