Kielbasa Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 4 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the kielbasa over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Stir in the potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Cook for an additional 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley before serving.
