Crockpot Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Add the chicken, chicken broth, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the crockpot.
  2. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  3. After cooking, tear the biscuit dough into pieces and drop them on top of the mixture.
  4. Cover and cook for an additional 1 hour until the biscuits are cooked through.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a thicker consistency, remove some broth and mix with cornstarch before adding the biscuit dough.
  • You can substitute chicken thighs for the chicken breasts for a different texture.
