Creamy Cottage Cheese Beef Lasagna

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the ground beef; stir until combined.
  5. In a bowl, mix together cottage cheese, half the mozzarella, and half the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Spread a layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Layer 4 noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the cottage cheese mixture on top.
  8. Add another layer of meat sauce, followed by another 4 noodles.
  9. Repeat the layering process and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
