2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon cinnamon
½ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
Gradually stir in the flour mixture until just combined.
In a separate bowl, blend cream cheese, cinnamon, and powdered sugar until smooth.
Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet, then place a small amount of the cream cheese mixture on top of each.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add more cinnamon to the cream cheese mixture.
