Cherry Tiramisu

Indulge in a rich and creamy cherry tiramisu that redefines a classic dessert with a fruity twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup cherry liqueur
  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture gently.
  4. In a shallow dish, combine brewed coffee and cherry liqueur.
  5. Dip the ladyfingers quickly into the coffee mixture, then layer them in a dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Add half of the cherries on top of the mascarpone layer.
  8. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  9. Dust the top with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For best flavor, use fresh cherries.
  • Chill the dessert overnight for even better results.
