  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup additional crushed vanilla wafers for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix crushed vanilla wafers and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Fold in whipped topping, followed by banana slices.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together banana pudding mix and milk until thickened. Fold this into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture over the crust in the springform pan and smooth the top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
  8. Before serving, sprinkle the additional crushed vanilla wafers on top.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add sliced bananas on top before serving.
  • This cheesecake tastes even better the next day!
