Turkish Eggs with Creamy Yogurt & Butter Sauce

A delicious breakfast recipe featuring poached eggs served over creamy yogurt topped with a buttery sauce.

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pot, boil water and poach the eggs to your preference.
  2. In a bowl, mix yogurt with salt and spread it on a serving plate.
  3. In a pan, melt butter with olive oil and add paprika, stirring until fragrant.
  4. Place the poached eggs on top of the yogurt.
  5. Drizzle the butter sauce over the eggs.
  6. Garnish with fresh dill.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper to the butter sauce.
  • If you’re short on time, you can use store-bought yogurt sauce.
