Instructions

  3. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are golden.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
