Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, blending thoroughly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and additional cinnamon.
  7. Roll out the dough and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it, rolling tightly to form a log.
