  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fill each muffin cup about 3/4 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let muffins cool for a few minutes, then roll them in powdered sugar while still warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add cinnamon to the powdered sugar coating.
  • These muffins are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for a day or two.
