Strawberry Pretzel Salad

A delicious blend of sweet strawberries and salty pretzels in a creamy dessert.

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 package strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press into the bottom of a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pretzel crust.
  5. Dissolve the Jell-O in boiling water, then stir in sliced strawberries. Let it cool slightly.
  6. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate until set.

Notes

  • For a beautiful presentation, use fresh strawberries on top.
  • Chill the dish for several hours or overnight for best flavor.
