Strawberry Milkshake Pound Cake

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, pureed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour and salt, and gradually add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
  5. Fold in the strawberry puree until well combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
