Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice

A delightful and spicy twist on the traditional crispy rice treat featuring fresh tuna.

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 1 pound fresh tuna, diced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon wasabi

Instructions

  1. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix diced tuna with soy sauce, sesame oil, Sriracha, and green onions.
  3. Shape the cooled rice into small squares.
  4. Top each rice square with a spoonful of the spicy tuna mixture.
  5. Coat each topped rice square in panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a skillet and fry the rice squares until golden brown.
  7. Serve topped with avocado and a dollop of wasabi.
