Spicy Fish Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 cups fish stock
  • 1 pound white fish fillets, cut into pieces
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in the fish stock and bring to a boil.
  5. Add the fish pieces, tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
  6. Stir in the lemon juice before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
