  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out dough and spread Nutella evenly on top.
  6. Roll into a log and twist into a braided shape.
  7. Place in a greased loaf pan and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Brush with egg wash and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Let cool before serving.
