- 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 sandwich rolls
- 1/2 cup sliced pickles (optional)
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the beef on all sides.
- Transfer the beef to the slow cooker. Add the beef broth, barbecue sauce, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
