  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 sandwich rolls
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the beef on all sides.
  2. Transfer the beef to the slow cooker. Add the beef broth, barbecue sauce, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is fork-tender.
  4. Remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return shredded beef to the sauce and stir to combine.
  5. Serve on sandwich rolls and top with pickles if desired.
