  • 1/4 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons chopped spring onions

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic, ginger, and chilies, sautéing for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the crabs and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they turn red.
  4. Pour in the tomato ketchup, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sugar, tossing to coat the crabs.
  5. Add a splash of water if the sauce is too thick, and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until sauce is glossy.
