  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in buttermilk until just combined, then turn out onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut into rounds. Place on a baking sheet.
  5. In another bowl, mix shrimp, crab, mayonnaise, mustard, paprika, and pepper.
  6. Top each biscuit round with the seafood mixture.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
  8. Sprinkle with green onions before serving.
