Rich Chocolate Truffle Pie

  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a pie dish.
  3. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just boiling, then remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate, stirring until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  5. Combine the chocolate mixture with the egg mixture, whisking until fully blended.
  6. Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the center is set but still slightly soft.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
