  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup raspberry jam
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm.
  3. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients, mix well.
  4. Incorporate eggs until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, then let rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough, spread raspberry jam and lemon juice on top.
  7. Roll the dough into a log and slice into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a baking dish, cover, and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh raspberries in the jam.
  • These rolls are best served warm.
