Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, sugar, and oil until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. While the cake is baking, mix the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream in a bowl.
  9. Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool for 10 minutes.
  10. Poke holes all over the cake using a fork and pour the milk mixture over it.
  11. Let the cake soak for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator before serving.
