- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and eggs. Mix well.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
