Outback Steakhouse Potato Soup Recipe

A delicious and creamy potato soup inspired by Outback Steakhouse, featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add diced potatoes and chicken broth, bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
  5. Blend the soup until smooth, then stir in cream, seasonings, and bacon.
  6. Heat through and serve topped with cheese.

Notes

  • For a thicker soup, mash some of the potatoes before blending.
  • Adjust seasonings to taste.
