- 6 cups thinly sliced, peeled apples
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, toss together the sliced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt.
- Place one pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan and fill it with the apple mixture.
- Dot the mixture with butter.
- Cover with the top crust, sealing and cutting slits for steam.
