Maple Pecan & Pumpkin Cheesecake Trifle

This Maple Pecan & Pumpkin Cheesecake Trifle is the perfect dessert for fall, combining rich pumpkin flavors with a crunchy pecan topping.

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crushed pecans
  • 1 package ladyfingers

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture gently.
  5. Layer the ladyfingers at the bottom of a trifle dish.
  6. Spread a layer of the pumpkin mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Add a layer of crushed pecans.
  8. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream and pecans on top.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter dessert, add more maple syrup to taste.
  • Feel free to top with additional whipped cream before serving.
