  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the chicken by coating it with flour, then dipping it in the beaten egg, and finally coating it with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
  3. Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and chop into small pieces.
  5. In the same skillet, add heavy cream, garlic powder, and onion powder; mix well and stir in the turkey bacon.
  6. Serve the crispy chicken topped with the creamy turkey bacon sauce.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken in buttermilk for a few hours before preparing.
