Italian Basil Chicken Cutlets with Tomato and Burrata Topping

Italian Basil Chicken Cutlets topped with fresh tomatoes and creamy burrata are a flavorful twist on a classic dish.

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken cutlets
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat chicken cutlets dry and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken cutlets and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Remove from heat and top with halved cherry tomatoes and burrata cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh basil.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate chicken in olive oil, garlic, and herbs before cooking.
