  • 7 grams instant yeast
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 300 ml warm water
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 200 grams jam of your choice
  • 100 grams powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  6. Press the dough into a greased baking tray, creating dimples.
  7. Fill the dimples with jam and cover with a cloth for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
