Gouda & Mushroom Stuffed Chicken

A delicious and satisfying dish that combines the creamy flavor of Gouda cheese with earthy mushrooms, all stuffed inside juicy chicken breasts.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Gouda cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add mushrooms, and sauté until softened.
  3. In a bowl, mix sautéed mushrooms with Gouda cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  4. Make a pocket in each chicken breast and stuff with the mushroom and Gouda mixture.
  5. Place stuffed chicken breasts in a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
