Easy One Pot Creamy Tomato Pasta

This easy one pot creamy tomato pasta recipe is delicious and can be made in no time!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 15 ounces canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add olive oil, onions, and garlic. Sauté until translucent.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
  4. Bring to a boil and add pasta. Reduce heat and cover. Cook until pasta is tender.
  5. Stir in cream and Parmesan until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Top with crispy bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit turkey bacon and substitute with mushrooms.
  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables!
