Easy Gingerbread Tiramisu

A cozy and festive twist on the classic tiramisu, featuring the warm flavors of gingerbread.

  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 package gingerbread cookies
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix brewed coffee and coffee liqueur.
  2. In another bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Add mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg to the whipped cream; mix until smooth.
  4. Dip each gingerbread cookie in the coffee mixture and layer them in a serving dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the cookies.
  6. Repeat with another layer of cookies and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder.

Notes

  • This dessert can be made a day in advance for the best flavor.
