  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup cooked chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken ham, turkey bacon, carrots, cabbage, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and green onions.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface and place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center.
  3. Fold the bottom of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly to seal.
  4. In a deep skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of sesame oil to the filling.
  • These egg rolls can be frozen before frying for a quick appetizer later.
