Creamy Brie Mac and Cheese

A rich and creamy macaroni and cheese dish made with brie, turkey bacon, and chicken ham.

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 4 ounces brie cheese
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 ounces chicken ham
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package directions; drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Add garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and nutmeg to the sauce.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in brie cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Add cooked macaroni, turkey bacon, and chicken ham; stir to combine.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, add more brie cheese.
  • This recipe can be easily doubled for a larger crowd.
