  • 12 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper cups.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon for the filling.
  6. Fill each muffin cup halfway with batter, sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture, then top with the remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, then drizzle with the glaze made from powdered sugar and milk.
