A deliciously sweet and salty treat that combines the classic flavor of churros with the addictive crunch of Saltine crackers.

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package Saltine crackers
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange Saltine crackers in a single layer.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until combined.
  4. Add vanilla extract and salt to the mixture, then bring to a boil. Let it boil for 3 minutes.
  5. Pour the caramel over the Saltine crackers evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top, letting them melt.
  8. Spread the melted chocolate evenly, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  9. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
