  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into mini-cake molds.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before removing from molds.
