Cherry Crunch Cake

A deliciously sweet Cherry Crunch Cake that is easy to make and hard to resist!

  • 2 cups cherries, pitted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cherries and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the flour, oats, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Layer the cherry mixture in a baking dish, followed by the oat mixture on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.
