Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage

A creamy, savory dish combining cheesy ranch potatoes with smoked sausage for a hearty meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 pound smoked sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine potatoes, olive oil, ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Spread the potato mixture on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
  4. While the potatoes are baking, slice the smoked sausage.
  5. After 25 minutes, add the sausage to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and stir in the sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add diced bell peppers or onions to the potato mixture.
  • Can substitute turkey sausage for a lighter option.
