A delicious twist on the classic cheesecake, these cheesecake egg rolls are a fun and easy dessert for any occasion.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Place about 2 tablespoons of the cheesecake mixture in the center of each egg roll wrapper.
  3. Roll the wrapper tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown on all sides, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve warm, optionally with chocolate sauce.

Notes

  • Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to ensure crispiness.
