  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix together sugar, cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  4. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish.
  6. Spoon the cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter, and then top with the remaining brownie batter.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before cutting into squares.

  • For a richer flavor, consider using dark chocolate.
