  • 4 pieces chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the saucepan and grill or sauté until browned and cooked through.
  3. In a separate pot, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add the rice and cook according to package instructions.
  4. Serve the caramelised chicken over the rice and ladle the broth on top.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
