- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- In a large bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, eggs, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread caramel sauce over the dough.
