These Cajun Style Fried Deviled Eggs with Turkey Bacon are a delicious twist on a classic appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs, let them cool, and peel.
  2. Cut the eggs in half and remove the yolks.
  3. In a bowl, mix egg yolks, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, green onion, Cajun seasoning, and turkey bacon until well combined.
  4. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  5. Coat each filled egg white in breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the coated eggs until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

Notes
