Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Delicious and moist banana chocolate chip muffins that are easy to make!

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. Add melted butter to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  4. Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Mix in baking soda and salt.
  6. Add the flour and stir until just combined.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  9. Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Let muffins cool before removing them from the pan.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding chopped nuts.
  • Overripe bananas work best for sweetness.
