- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
- Add melted butter to the mashed bananas and mix well.
- Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Mix in baking soda and salt.
- Add the flour and stir until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
- Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let muffins cool before removing them from the pan.
